The Black Edition is a unique creation that is carefully conceptualized. This bowl is recognized by its “Jhumka Batti” design – a technique that doubles the thickness on the edges. As the name suggests, the singing bowl has a deep black color and unique appearance.

The thickness on the edge allows the sound to stay a little longer. The bowl, when struck, produces a clear sound with great power and exceptional note length. The high-pitched sharp sound that fills the air differentiates this bowl from the others. This bowl is handcrafted carefully by the artists in Kathmandu Valley using a mixture of metals and special hammering techniques. Created by a mix of seven metals: Copper, Tin, Iron, Lead, Zinc, Silver, and Gold, the bowl symbolizes ancient symbolism. Gold represents the Sun, Silver the Moon, Copper Venus, Iron Mars, Tin Jupiter, and Lead Saturn.
